Based in Malaysia, this is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Test Engineer with a focus on testing against specifications for Analog, Digital and Mixed Signal leading edge ICs and products. The client are leading provider of end-to-end design services supporting fabless, electronics and semiconductor companies as well as manufacturers.

Primary responsibilities will include designing and executing functional and performance testing for analog, digital and mixed signal products to international standards, working closely with the design engineers and external vendors to select, specify and qualify components/materials for electronics design and be involved in all phases of product development. This includes, definition, design for testability, test for hardware and software design, hands-on debug, characterisation and manufacturing release. He/she will assist in the development of test plans and test procedures and also be responsible for managing an engineering and test lab environment.

Skill Set:

- Hardware development including Circuit Design, Schematic Capture and Board layout is a must
- Proficient in the use of various PCB soldering tools/techniques is required
- Proven ability to debug and repair product to component level
- Software and Script development experience using LabView, C/C++ and/or Visual Basic for the development of test and control programs is a strong advantage
- Hands on experience with lab equipments: Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power meters, DAQ
- Understanding Signal Integrity and ESD
- Ability to demonstrate good system level understanding of various types of IC and product configurations, i.e. Power Management products, LDOs, Buck & Boost regulators, Battery Chargers etc would be an advantage.
