Our client, a start-up is about to introduce their first chip into the cell-phone market and hence is now looking for a Marketing Director with previous semiconductor/IC experience to manage the complete lifecycle from definition to market introduction. This position can be based in Ireland or Hong Kong.

This will involve market segmentation, business planning, competitive analysis, product definition, developing software partnership and working on product strategies. You will also take responsible for Marcomms activities as well.

You should have extensive marketing experience within the cellphone market ideally within the semiconductor/IP ecosytem and a track record of successfully bringing products to market. Degree qualified, an MBA would be advanatgeous and should be prepared form extensive travel.
