Based in one of the main cities of Germany, the Senior Applications Engineer will work with a well known Semiconductor company on the evaluation of leading edge power management devices during early development phases.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Development of corresponding hardware/software environments at board level
- Providing the first line of technical support to customers during design phases (including system integration and application debugging)
- Interfacing with design engineering teams to provide in depth technical responses
- Support to marketing teams to provide new product development ideas
- Maintaining regular contact/communication with the relevant teams both internally as well as externally.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with good communication skills. Exposure to hardware design, providing first line application support for ICs, analogue board level design, system/device evaluation, validation skills and C/C++ as well as Labview will all be key in this role. Moreover, application engineering knowledge in wireless handset, audio/power management and/or automotive body electronics would be a distinct advantage. Fluency in English is a pre-requisite and a willingness to work in an international team as well as occasional travelling will be beneficial.
