An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic start up company developing RF technology for wireless infrastructures. Due to expansion they currently seek an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer for their design centre in Southern Germany.

In this role you will be responsible for designing RF/Analog and high speed Mixed Signal ICs in CMOS processes. As well supervising layout you will be involved in all aspects of design from concept definition and development, circuit design, to post silicon characterization and qualification.

Responsibilities include; the design, simulation and verification of high-speed analog RF and mixed-signal CMOS circuits in the areas A/D, D/A converters, sigma delta modulators, PLLs, operational amplifiers and bandgap circuits. You will also be expected to supervise IC layout/mask designers, providing floorplan and layout guidelines and post silicon lab characterization and support of circuit integration in products.

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will have established experience in RF/Mixed Signal IC Design in CMOS, Verilog-A/AMS, Matlab, and signal processing, Cadence's custom IC design environment and ideally have knowledge in wireless communications. Experience in RF power amplifier design or RF lab instrumentation and automation is ideal.

Excellent communications skills in English are required with knowledge of the German language beneficial.
