Urgent requirement has arisen for an Pre-sales/Applications Engineer in Italy with experience of renewable energy sources.

This is a customer facing position that will require travel and a combination of good communication skills with the following technical attributes:

• 5+ years of electrical power system related experience, ideally with 3-phase AC power and applications with renewable energy.
• Field experience with solar electric power system installations and electrical system design, also knowledge of power conditioning technology is preferred

As an Applications Engineer, you will support the product Sales Team, interfacing with customers, and preparing technical application materials. You will work with the Systems Design Team to produce the required drawings, array sizing, bills of materials and requirements compliance matrices. You will also follow up qualified leads and help identify customer’s needs and PV power requirements.

A challenging role, this will suit an Italian speaker with a strong technical background in electrical power systems and the renewable energy marketplace.
