Silicon - Mixed-Signal / Analog / RF IC Design

Our client is a successful fabless semiconductor company who are pioneers in the field of microcontrollers for wireless connectivity.

Due to continued success, they require a Mixed Signal / RF IC Design Engineer to be involved in circuit design at transistor level with experience in layout techniques, process technology and spice design flows using Cadence.

In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following is required: circuit design for comms applications, analogue cell layout, chip assembly and block isolation techniques, power management, audio or PLL design, system simulation and specification, ADC and/or DAC design. Some Knowledge of layout techniques and process technology is also expected.

Ideally the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate relevant Mixed Signal or RF design experience on CMOS or bipolar technologies for wireless communication or data conversion applications.

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), you will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills. A background in either mobile communications or data acquisition an advantage.
