Our client is a leading designer of Analog and Mixed Signal products and due to continued success currently seek an RF IC Design engineer for their design centre in a desirable part of the French speaking part of Switzerland.

In this position you will be involved in the development of CMOS and BiCMOS processes for portable wireless applications working in the high frequency UHF band.

As part of your job function, you will be expected to investigate the most suitable architectures for RF receivers, transmitters and frequency synthesisers, as well as basic RF components like LNA, mixers, filters, power amplifiers and VCOs.

Responsibilities will include the design, optimisation and simulation of the circuits before integration, measurements and characterisation afterwards. Depending on experience, you might also take responsibility for architectural design & mentoring of junior engineers. Through the course of your duties, you will also work closely with members of the design team, Technicians, Test and Product Engineers

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful applicant will have several years experience in RF CMOS IC design ideally with knowledge in some of the following; RF receivers, transmitters and frequency synthesisers, LNA, mixers, filters, PLLs, power amplifiers, VCOs. Experience with Analog baseband circuit design is a major plus.

Good communication skills in English is required with knowledge of the French language an advantage.
