Superb career opportunity for senior / executive semiconductor design professional to take on a high visibility role within a fast growing pre-IPO.

Our client already has significant design wins and revenue streams, with a "multiple product portfolio" roadmap which could make it one of Europe's most successful technology startups of the last decade. The technology and the market are both proven, so such a goal is less a dream than a clear reality, perhaps two execution steps away.

To support this execution phase, they now seek a director of IC design who has a proven track record of seeing products from conception to the high volume delivery. This will include managing / leading technical development, making tactical choices between in house vs outsourced resources, taking products through manufacturing and qualifications, etc.

This is very much a technology driven company, therefore a strong technical pedigree is essential. Therefore experience of front and back end ASIC design and awareness of architectural / embedded software issues is essential; video or networking experience would be ideal.
