An opportunity has arisen to join an exciting fabless semiconductor company that is developing breakthrough solutions for the wireless connectivity market.

Due to continued success, our client seeks a Principal Analog/RF IC Design Engineer for their UK design centre.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of audio / power management macro sub-systems designs. This may involve coordinating and leading the work of other engineers, and may involve contact with the digital and software departments, business units, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

·    Development and verification of sub-systems within the Analog section of a chip
·    Complex problem solving in a tightly constrained environment
·    Analog design for complex sub-cells and small sub-systems
·    Keeping abreast of new developments, technical expertise in the design of Analog sub-cells
·    Sharing technical expertise with other Engineers; provides guidance and support

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful Analog/RF IC Design Engineer will be experienced in; Analog design and verification techniques, Cadence and Mentor analogue design and verification tools, the use of Matlab and other system design tools for defining the architecture and specification of audio and power management sub-systems.

This position will involve coordinating and leading the activities of other engineers and therefore requires leadership skills and strong communications skills.
