Excellent software engineering position with a top tier semiconductor development company, to work on the development of simulations and models for their latest processor technologies.

The successful candidate will join as principal software engineer within the team and will be developing models for new processor cores and peripherals, improving System C simulation integration, optimising performance and accuracy of models, etc.

Candidates will be proven software developers with the following background and software skills:
- low-level C/C++ software skills
- software development experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- CPU instruction set familiarity with understanding of processor architectures and operation
- interest in some of the following: CPU architecture, simulator design, compiler technology, testing/profiling, low-level optimization, device driver programming
- knowledge and/or use of System C.
