Exciting software development role with leading Cambridge client. This role will be suited to someone keen to cover a diverse set of languages such as C++, C#, Python, ASP.net, SQL, MySQL and see their success enable the volume manufacture of semiconductors.

This role will involve the creation and maintenance of a set of applications to enable the test of high volume semiconductor devices including:
o    Driving the low-level device hardware
o    Controlling automated test and handling equipment
o    Security protocols
o    Operator user interface
o    Database for test inputs and outputs
o    Remote maintenance and control of the system

Applicants must have excellent academics and experience of software development in a wide range of languages including Python, C++ and SQL with the ability to understand complex systems and break them down into workable subsystems. Understanding the importance of and being able to effectively produce technical documentation is also essential.

This role may also suit a bright graduate or junior engineer who can demonstrate flexibility and quick ability to learn.
