Software Applications and Support Engineer required in High Wycombe to provide customer support on high technology products as well as creating custom and demonstration applications. Suitable applicants will have a relevant degree, strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience (VXworks), Linux, problem-solving abilities to address complex hardware/software interactions, excellent inter-personal skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills, Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: VME, PCI, FPGAs, SRIO, PCIe, OpenGL, Mil-Std-1553, PowerPC is an asset

As the primary technical contact for customers the successful candidate will be working with them on aspects including initial product introduction, application support, sub-system integration and technical support. Performing technical investigations, trouble-shoot problems and provide solutions by applying sound engineering practices. This is a customer focussed role so it is essential that applicants are strong communicators, and able to demonstrate strong customer focussed skills.
