Design Engineer required by leading client in Hertfordshire. Key skills: QA Design Engineer required for growing team - embedded C/C++, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS, Real, QA, Test


As a Design Engineer, you will be:
* working closely with the software teams on extending the test automation framework
* providing feedback on product design and scenarios to ensure testability
* developing test suites
* refining automated testing harness and
* automating end to end tests.


Applicants will need strong academics (2.1 or above) and strong C or C++ skills. A proven track record of 2-3 years or equivalent in delivering high quality software in embedded environments is essential. It is preferable to have experience of testing multi-media frameworks and an understanding of one or more of the following video compression standards (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MPEG4-AVC, WMV9, VC-1, AVS, Real).
