My client has opportunities for several principal multimedia embedded software engineers to drive the development of audio, video, graphics and other multimedia solutions based around their innovative multicore processor technology.

Candidates will have experience in:
· Commercial embedded software development
· Embedded systems architecture, design and debug
· Embedded C
· Plus some of the following would be of benefit
- Performance optimisation and assembly language programming for VLIW
- Audio codecs
- Video codecs (MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264 etc.)
- OpenGL, OpenVG

The successful candidates will be responsible for hands-on technical leadership of a wide variety of embedded software development including applications, drivers, protocols and algorithms. Full life-cycle responsibility, Project planning, tracking and reporting, etc

In addition to opportunities in their European headquarters, positions also exist in Romania & Hong Kong.
