Located in Hampshire, the senior Switch Mode Power Supply Design Engineer (SMPS) will be working with a well established company in the field of Power Supply design, working on a range of different technologies.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Senior Switch Mode Power Supply Design Engineer will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from concept to production, designing and developing custom SMPS technologies, guiding junior team members and driving the design team forward in terms of skills and boundaries.

Required:

- Understanding of leading-edge power conversion techniques
- Resonant Converters
- Power Factor Correction (PFC)
- DC-DC / AC-DC
- PCB Layout Design
- Planar Magnetics
- Synchronous rectification]
- Circuit Simulation
- EMC filter design and Control Loop Design.

Desired:

- Safety Requirements / CE
- Stress Analysis
- Reliability Calculation
- Design Reviews
