Our client is an international leading edge technology company currently seeking an Analog/RF IC Layout Engineer for the site in the South of England.

In this position you will be responsible for the layout of Analog/RF & Mixed Signal circuits using Cadence tools. Other responsibilities include, verification (DRC, LVS, ERC, ESD), estimating layout size and scheduling, floor-planning, working with designers and assisting with tape outs.

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful IC Layout Engineer will have experience in IC layout, including chip integration and layout of high-performance Analog and/or RF or high-speed circuits. A good knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso XL Layout and Composer XL Schematic is required as well as verification and parasitic extraction tools (preferably Calibre, Assura, QRC). Programming or scripting (Linux shell script or Cadence Skill) is ideal.
