Based in Surrey, our client is a leading provider of advanced technology solutions to the defence and commercial markets world-wide. Image processing forms a major arm of the business, and they now seek a Senior FPGA Design Engineer to provide further creative input to build their growing IP portfolio.

This is a challenging and varied role, suitable for engineer with significant FPGA design experience capable of taking algorithmic descriptions (e.g. in MATLAB) and translating these into VHDL, in a Xilinx environment. Your role will be critical in the design and implementation of architectures in FPGA (VHDL) to carry out high specification video processing for customer delivery. You'll be supporting Project Management, providing oversight of the engineering group, and working very closely with the commercial and the engineering teams; consequently, the you must have the know-how and the interpersonal skills to be able to fit into a very focussed group of people and adapt to a fast-moving SME environment.
