An international supplier of low power Analog and Mixed Signal ICs for the telecommunication sector seeks a Senior IC Layout Engineer for their UK design centre.

In this position you will be responsible for preparation of full-custom IC layouts, submission of layout data to foundries and maintenance and design of layout libraries.

This is a hands on role for a self motivated engineer with the ability to perform full-custom and Mixed Signal IC layout. Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful candidate will be familiar with Cadence based design, layout tools and software. As part of a multi-site engineering team you will liase with Analog, RF and Digital IC designers working on a range of CMOS and SiGe technologies.

Good communication skills required along with a methodical approach to layout and checking and the ability to work under pressure to meet marketing and foundry deadlines.
