UMTS Software Test Engineer - Protocol Stack, UMTS, NAS/RRC/MAC

- Do you have good hands on test experience with specifications such as UMTS/WCDMA/HSPDA/HSUPA?

- Profound test knowledge within various layers required such as NAS, RRC, MAC and interaction to Layer 1?

My client is a leading player within the Semiconductor industry seeking top Software Test Engineers to join the engineering test team. You as a software test engineer will be responsible for developing test plans, test cases, test execution, troubleshooting and debugging.

You must have strong call processing knowledge as per 3GPP specifications for UMTS/WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE capable data modules.

Software Test engineers require a good relevant degree with skills and knowledge within:
- Development of UMTS protocol
- System Testing
- GSM/ GPRS /EDGE / Rel99/ Rel5 / HSDPA/ HSUPA/HSPA+/LTE
- Layer 1
- TTCN/C/C++, Perl, shell scripting
- UMTS test simulators, CMW500, Anite, R&S, Racal and Anritsu 8470A,Agilent 8960,
