Our key client is seeking an Applications Engineer, with good DSP and wireless communications knowledge, from the semiconductor industry to join their Applications Group. To be based in the West of England.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Electronic or Electrical engineering
- PCB design skills (high speed digital, analogue, RF, audio)
- Experience from a major mobile phone manufacturer would be beneficial
- Knowledge of 2G, 2.5G, 3G and GSM beneficial, though not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of applications support for assigned customers
- Support the onsite Engineering and FAE teams
- Excellent presentation and Customer Facing skills
- Recognise new opportunities for business development
