3-6month contract
Successful supercomputer company in Bristol seeks a PCB Design contractor to undertake design and development of printed circuit board assemblies for use in high-speed data switching applications.

Duties include:
- Generation and issue of PCB design specifications
- Microprocessor-based design
- PLD-based design
- High-speed logic design
- Test and debug
- Liasing with Manufacturing and R&D personnel as required

A proven track record and significant experience in designing high-speed digital electronics PCBs is essential, along with skills in PLD design (in VHDL). Desirable attributes include a knowledge of design for EMC and experience using Orcad tools.
