Principal-level salary + benefits package
This is a new opportunity for a highly experienced digital ASIC designer to join our client, a strongly expanding Semiconductor company in the South West.

This role carries a lot of responsibility in that you will be in charge of implementing and steering top-level design from specification to synthesized and STA clean netlist, and ensuring that the design process meets budget, schedule and project plan goals.


The right candidate needs to be degree qualified in Electronic Engineering / Computer Science related discipline, and have spent a number of years in an ASIC Design role using VHDL/ Verilog. A proven ability to optimize and develop design architecture from chip inception through to compliant netlist is essential; the ability to undertake technical leadership is also very important.


The role will involve some occasional international travel, so candidates must have existing legal right to work in the UK.
