This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful semiconductor start up involved in the design of high speed Analog and Mixed Signal ICs for the automotive and communications markets.

They currently seek a technical leader for their site in South West England and in this role you will be leading development from a technical perspective in the design and layout of high performance Analog / Mixed signal IC's as well as taking technical lead, mentoring more junior engineers and running projects.

Other tasks include, new product development, schematic entry, simulation, layout, parasitic extraction and contributing to design reviews.

A solid understanding of design fundamentals Analog/Mixed Signal of RF IC Design is required preferably with experience in high speed design. Experience is also required in designing opto-electronic devices such as transimpedance amplifiers and laser drivers at bit rates up to and including 10 Gbit/s in pure CMOS.

Good communication skills required, along with proven leadership skills and proven experience of successful product delivery.
