This new position for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Wiltshire will suit a candidate from either a motor design, aerospace or automotive background.
Responsibilities will include 3D Mechanical Design, delivering parts and assemblies from concept through to production and driving the mechanical design to evaluate alternative materials/processes to improve reliability and cost down. A good relevant degree is required (or equivalent), along with proven industry knowledge of Mechanical Design, with an appreciation of FEA and experience of a 3D Modelling package (Solidworks, SolidEdge, Wildfire etc).
