Our Client is a world leader in the mobile communications market and is established itself as a key developer of breakthrough wireless solutions.

They have current vacancies within their DSP layer 1 software team to be based out of their UK offices. Candidates will be considered from any geographical location provided they have the right skills, relocation assistance will be given where required.

Candidates will be experienced engineers in industry developing DSP and / or Layer 1 software. Prior experience in the design and development of DSP channel coding, audio, L1 physical layer or L1 control layer code for current wireless technologies. They will have experience producing memory management designs including overlays, buffering, managing caching, DMA access, bus latency and internal memory assignment. Plus control and data plane design and algorithm selection and integration.

The successful candidates will be part of a team developing leading-edge physical layer signal processing software for standardised wireless technologies. The position will involve evaluating and defining a physical layer and L1 control layer design, establishing approaches to memory management, inter-task and inter-processor communication.
