Our client, one of Europe's leading consultancies providing expert place and route services to the IC industry, is looking for several physical design engineers to join it's Berkshire based team.

We are looking for motivated, flexible individuals able to make significant contributions to our client's in-house designs as well as make trips into Europe to visit customer sites.

Candidates with the following attributes are required:

· BSc/MEng/PhD degree in Microelectronics / Electronic Engineering or similar
· Good experience in timing analysis and solid knowledge of back-end flow
· Experience in Floorplanning, Powerplanning, Place & Route, Clocktree Synthesis, Timing Verification, Signal integrity, layout optimisations and physical verification
· Excellent people skills - candidates must be able to speak and write fluent English
· You should be a good team player who can bring energy and imagination to a diverse array of projects
