Our client is a high flyer in developing entertainment and information networking solutions for the automotive market. They have a new vacancy for an experienced ASIC Design Engineer to undertake a lead role in developing the next generation of multi-media networks.

Based in their Surrey design centre, the right candidate will primarily be responsible for the design, implementation and verification of digital integrated circuits aimed at high-speed multimedia networks for use in luxury vehicles.

Candidates must be degree-qualified in Electronics (or similar) and have a detailed and current knowledge of designing an ASIC, having worked in a situation where an ASIC has been taken from design (specification) through to manufacturing. The right applicant will be a VHDL expert, and ideally have a good knowledge of SystemC and C/C++.
