New Expansion At Ic Group

A year on from the expansion of IC Resources into the IC Group (IC Resources, IC Software and IC 3E), the high tech recruitment specialists today announced another significant round of growth.

Five new consultants have joined the group. Dave Dixon, ex Engineering Manager at Oxford Semiconductor, will head up senior level and executive appointments. Jeff Wu, a fluent Chinese and Japanese speaker with 10 years IC sales experience, will undertake commercial recruitment within Asia Pac. IC Software adds Claire Giles (ex Elan) on commercial recruitment and Emma Windows (ex Computer Futures) on embedded and applications software recruitment. Finally Daniel Nash, with significant previous contract experience, will initially operate across a number of technologies; his business plan calls for 4 new consultants in the next 18 months, each with a specific sector focus.

Neil Dickins, one of the founders of IC Resources and the IC Group, believes that the company now offers an ideal sole source solution to companies seeking to reduce recruitment time and cost. "This infusion of talent into the team means that we now offer valuable depth and breadth of service, with our extensive experience in vertical technical sectors complemented by horizontal functions, such as contract, commercial and executive recruitment."

Dickins feels there are strong reasons to expand in the current market. "At times such as these, those companies that are still hiring - and there are quite a few - have high demands. Each new hire is viewed as critical, therefore the onus is on us to identify top tier individuals for every role. The best way to do that is to hire experienced consultants who build specialist market expertise. Also, investing in people and infrastructure now means that we will be well positioned when the next growth cycle begins."

The strategy seems to be working - from their offices in London, Reading and Berkhamsted, the company is currently working on over 500 active technical and commercial roles in the UK, mainland Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
